The under-pressure manager stated he had no concerns about dismissal, maintaining, “We are very near to things turning around,” in the wake of sliding worryingly close to being fired with a convincing defeat by the Ibrox side.

The victorious boss was cautious about a serious challenge even after what appeared to be a huge result. “We take it game by game, then we can really build up momentum,” he said. “The belief in the squad is outstanding.”
